One of our favorite builds of the '22 season. Our client had the initial concept for a half-circular side table, featuring a drawer and lower shelf in solid Walnut. We used bent-wood lamination techniques, acieving the curved apron and drawer face. Dowel, mortise, and tenon joinery make up the bones of this build.

One of our first live edge pieces finished and sold on ETSY during the '21 season. This spectacular live edge slab in English Walnut came from California and milled in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Our first slab purchased as a business back in 2019, we had to wait another two years for it to fully dry before working with it. As the crack grew larger during the drying process we used this opportunity to practice butterfly techniques. We chose Cherry hardwood for the butterflies which offered a strikingly beautiful contrast to the English Walnut and a way to prevent the slab from cracking any further.

Not all of our pieces are one off's. Although dimensions differ there are items that we produce more often. We have made more than a few of these covers for kitchen sinks and stove tops adding extra work space especially convenient for smaller kitchens. We've been told by our clients that they are most convenient when cooking up a meal for the family or to hide what's in the sink when entertaining.
