Our Story

Hi, I'm Zach White, founder of Oregon Handcraft.
What began with restoring an old Adirondack chair quickly became something much bigger. That project sparked a passion for designing and building furniture that is as enduring as it is beautiful. Before long, I traded a decade in the financial industry for a workshop, determined to build something with my own hands.
Today, every piece is handcrafted in my Oregon shop using carefully selected hardwoods and traditional woodworking techniques. I believe furniture should do more than serve a purpose—it should become part of the home, grow more beautiful with age, and be enjoyed for decades to come.
Every piece is made to order — I don't keep ready-to-ship inventory, because each item deserves the same care and attention from start to finish.
Many of the pieces you'll find here began as custom commissions. Working closely with clients to bring an idea to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and those collaborations continue to shape the growing Oregon Handcraft collection.
Whether you're looking for a signature piece from the catalog or have a custom project in mind, I'd be honored to build something just for you.
Thank you for stopping by. I truly appreciate your support, and I look forward to creating something meaningful together.
